| The Supreme Court of Rhode Island is the highest court in Rhode Island. This court consists of one chief justice, along with four other justices, an administrative, and an office of State Courts and courtwide support. The second highest court in Rhode Island is the Superior Court, which consists of one presiding justice, 21 justices, and 4 magistrates. This court takes care of all types of felony/criminal cases, as well as civil matters that exceed $5,000. The next three courts are the Workers' Compensation Court, District Court and Family Court. Finally, the smallest court is the Traffic Tribunal, which takes care of all non-criminal traffic offenses. |

Colorado Bail amounts a determined by the judge.
The amount and type of bail are fixed by the judge at the first appearance before the court. A court will consider the defendants individual circumstances when the amount of bail is set. The bail amount must be sufficient to ensure that the defendant will appear for all scheduled proceedings.
